When Rhea creates light art, she never knows what will appear for it is a very spontaneous process. She was most surprised, for example, to see what looks like a face appear in the light image below.
In 2018 Kip Loades joined Rhea in her studio to film light art. For most of the time they worked together silently. During this clip, a short conversation begins that touches on the nature of friendship between different species, which then flows into Kip talking about cooperation between very different fish. There is a beautiful interplay between what we see and what we hear.

I find that the elementals appear when I use green or blue…..water energy is extremely powerful and always paints itself!
