Dear friends of the Dance of Light project.
We wish you a Happy New Year as we move through the darkness and towards the growing light in the Northern hemisphere.
This water colour sketch was painted in the high Alps of Switzerland, a place of great inspiration for Rhea Quien, director of Dance of Light.
As a result of her synaesthetic experiences, and extended retreats in nature observing light, Rhea went on to create her unique light art. These moving light images, which link nature, art and science, can be seen in the Dance of Light film, and in some of our other posts on the website including: Creating Light Images and Star Light and Light Art.
We look forward to sharing more of our creative work with you throughout 2023.
